This privacy policy applies to the Nine Darter app for iPhone, together with any related services operated by Raitis Šaripo (collectively, the "Application"). Raitis Šaripo is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Nine Darter is designed to work without an account. Your matches, every visit and dart you enter, player profiles (the names you type and each player's preferred doubles), statistics, practice sessions and settings are stored on your device, in the Application's own local database.
None of this content is sent to the Service Provider. There is no Nine Darter account, and the Service Provider cannot see your games, your players' names or your scores. The only exceptions are described in the sections below.
The Application does not ask you to register, sign in, or provide a name, email address or phone number. It has no server of its own.
If iCloud is turned on for your Apple Account, the Application keeps your games and players in sync across your own devices through your private iCloud database. That copy is stored by Apple on your behalf under Apple's Privacy Policy and is visible only to you. The Service Provider cannot access it. If iCloud is off, your data lives only on the device it was created on, and travels with that device's own iCloud or computer backup if you have one.
The Application shows no advertising. It does not use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not ask to track you, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Advertising-identifier collection and ad-personalisation signals are turned off in the analytics service described below.
Nine Darter Pro can read scores out loud. The caller's voice is generated on your device by iOS's built-in speech synthesis. The Application does not use the microphone, and nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
The Application collects analytics and crash information when you download and use it, in order to find bugs and understand which features are used. This information may include:
Analytics events and crash reports never include player names, scores as free text, or anything you type. They are not linked to your name, email address, Apple Account or any account. The Application does not collect your contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera.
You can turn analytics and crash reports off at any time in the Application's Settings under Privacy ("Share anonymous analytics" and "Send crash reports").
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use SDKs and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
Nine Darter does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com. Because there is no account, analytics data is not linked to you; please include the approximate dates and your device model so that it can be found.
Please note that content stored on your device and in your private iCloud database is under your control rather than the Service Provider's. You can delete a match in History or a player in Players, or delete everything by deleting the Application and, if you use iCloud, removing Nine Darter's data in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage. Analytics and crash reports can be turned off in the Application's Settings under Privacy.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.
The Service Provider does not sell or share your personal information.
The Application uses a small number of third-party services, listed below. Data transmitted to them is limited to the information described under "Information Collection and Use", apart from your iCloud data, which Apple stores privately for you. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms.
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
Nine Darter Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. Payment is handled by Apple and the Service Provider never receives or sees your payment details. Your subscription is verified on your device from Apple's own signed transaction records; there is no purchase account or server held by the Service Provider, and restoring Nine Darter Pro on another device is handled by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscription in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
You can stop analytics and crash reporting at any time in the Application's Settings under Privacy. You can also stop all further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. Neither of these automatically deletes information that has already been transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.
To request deletion of your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to exercise any of your rights, contact the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it, by contacting the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.
The Application is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them. The Application shows no advertising.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children in violation of applicable law. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (saripo.raitis@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains. Your games are held in the Application's own container on your device, protected by the device's file encryption, and are not reachable by other apps. Your iCloud copy is protected by Apple.
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-09-27
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or have questions about the practices, please contact the Service Provider via email at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.
