Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Sum Rush app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Raitis Šaripo (collectively, the "Application"). Raitis Šaripo is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".

What stays on your device

Sum Rush is designed to work without an account. Your coins, abilities, personal bests, statistics, game history and settings are stored on your device, in the Application's own local database.

None of this content is sent to the Service Provider. There is no Sum Rush account, and the Service Provider cannot see your progress, your coins or your personal bests. The only exceptions are described in the sections below.

No accounts and no cloud sync

The Application does not ask you to register, sign in, or provide a name, email address or phone number. It has no server of its own, and your progress is not synced or backed up to the Service Provider. Your data lives on the device it was created on, and it travels with that device's own iCloud or iTunes backup if you have one, which is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Deleting the Application deletes the data it holds.

Advertising

The Application is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. Banner ads are shown on menu screens and never while you are answering puzzles. Rewarded video ads are played only when you choose one, for example to double the coins earned in a round or to continue a Sudden Death run. Ads are limited to general-audience content.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects analytics and crash information when you download and use it, in order to find bugs and understand which features are used. This information may include:

Analytics events and crash reports are not linked to your name, email address or any account, and the Application has no way to collect them: it never asks for them. The Application does not collect your contacts, location, photos or anything you type.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, advertising, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.

Sum Rush uses the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking through App Tracking Transparency, and only for advertising. If you do not allow it, the Application does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.

Please note that content stored only on your device is under your control rather than the Service Provider's: you can delete everything by deleting the Application. Consent for personalised ads can be withdrawn in the Application's Settings under Privacy Options, and tracking can be turned off in the iOS Settings app.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com. You can opt out of the sharing of your Advertising Identifier for personalised ads by choosing "Ask App Not to Track" or by turning off tracking in the iOS Settings app.

The Service Provider does not sell your personal information.

Third Party Access

The Application uses a small number of third-party services, listed below. Data transmitted to them is limited to the information described under "Advertising" and "Information Collection and Use". The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

International Data Transfers

The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms.

Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

Purchases

Coin packs and Remove Ads are in-app purchases sold through Apple. Payment is handled by Apple and the Service Provider never receives or sees your payment details. Purchases are verified on your device from Apple's own signed transaction records; there is no purchase account or server held by the Service Provider, and restoring Remove Ads on another device is handled by Apple.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling will stop the Application from collecting data from your device, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.

To request deletion of your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to exercise any of your rights, contact the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:

You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it, by contacting the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.

Children

The Application is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them. Ads shown in the Application are limited to general-audience content.

Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children in violation of applicable law. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (saripo.raitis@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains. Your progress is held in the Application's own container on your device, protected by the device's file encryption, and is not reachable by other apps.

Data Breach Notification

If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.

Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at saripo.raitis@gmail.com.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-09-14

Your Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
